Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362): Teachers must ensure that their class descriptions, qualifications, and pricing are completely accurate. False trade descriptions, bait advertising, and misleading omissions are strictly prohibited.
Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance (Cap. 457): Teachers agree to carry out their educational services with reasonable care and skill.
Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) (Cap. 486): We collect, process, and store user data strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Principles under the PDPO.
Account Registration and Responsibilities
Parental Responsibility: Parents create profiles for their learners and assume all responsibility for their learner's platform use, behavior, and interactions.
Account Security: Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Account Access: Unauthorized attempts to access the Teacher or Agency center without proper privileges will be blocked and redirected to the homepage. Users can add favorite items to their personal profile.
Financial, Payment, and Scheduling Policies
To ensure clarity and transparency, all matters related to transactions on schoolplusu.com are governed by our separate [Financial and Payment Policy]. By using this platform, you agree to the terms laid out in that document, which includes, but is not limited to:
USD currency requirements, platform service fees (20%), and promotional listing fees.
Parent purchasing, cancellation rules (24-hour notice), and site credit refund/withdrawal procedures.
Teacher payout schedules and holding of funds.
Strict tardiness and absence policies for both Students and Teachers.
The structure and payouts of our Referral and Promotion Program.
User Conduct, Safety, and Account Termination
Prohibited Conduct: Users may not distribute illegal content, circumvent platform security, harvest data, or communicate outside the platform to bypass platform fees.
Class Recordings: To ensure the safety of our community, facilitate educational review, and resolve disputes, live classes hosted on our platform are automatically recorded.
Account Termination: The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, breach our Financial and Payment Policy, or violate applicable Hong Kong laws.
Disclaimers and Liability
"As Is" Basis: The platform, including all marketplace, hosting, and scheduling tools, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. School Plus U Limited does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any related agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
